Over 15 acres of verdant and peaceful terrain are contained within the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, making it one of the city’s most expansive and aesthetically pleasing areas of green space.

Within the grounds of the gardens, guests have the opportunity to investigate a number of one-of-a-kind attractions, such as the Tropical House, which is home to a lily pool in addition to a diverse assortment of tropical plants and trees.

One of the other highlights of the gardens is the Sub-tropical House, which is filled with exotic plants such as tree ferns, palms, and breathtaking orchids.

Outside, guests can take advantage of the picturesque walking paths that meander through the beautifully landscaped grounds, alongside the Rose Garden, which is brimming with colourful blooms.

Children will have a great time discovering nature in the Children’s Discovery Garden or adventuring through the Adventure Playground.

There are a number of aviaries that are home to a diverse collection of exotic birds, as well as an intriguing Sculpture Trail that is home to a number of sculptures created by local artists.

The closest train station is University which is a 14 minute walk away from the Botanical Gardens.

You can also take the bus with several bus stops close by such as Harborne Rd, Westfield Rd and St Georges Church.
