The picturesque and one-of-a-kind Mudeford Sandbank Beach can be found in the town of Christchurch in the county of Dorset.

This breathtaking location is a Site of Nature Conservation Interest (SNCI), and visitors can reach it from the Hengistbury Head car park on foot, by bicycle, or by land train.

Mudeford Quay and Christchurch Quay both provide access to passenger ferries, making this location extremely convenient.

There are five public restroom buildings located at the beach, one of which features hot showers.

Open fires, fire pits, BBQs and fire bowls are not permitted at any time on the beach at Mudeford Sandbank Beach.

This is because the beach is located so close to the Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve.

How to get to Mudeford Sandbank Beach

1. Take the 33 Bus to the Mudeford Sandbank Beach stop. The 33 Bus runs from the Christchurch Bus Station and stops near the beach.

2. Exit the Bus when you reach the Mudeford Sandbank Beach stop.

3. Follow the road from the Bus stop to the beach. The beach will be located on the right side of the road.
