Not only is it located in the beautiful and historic Strand district of Galveston, it’s also a short 5-minute walk from the Galveston Railroad Museum.
If you’re looking to get some beach time in, you’ll be pleased that the beach is just a mile away.
The accommodations are top-notch. Every room and suite comes with an iPod dock, coffee maker, Wi-Fi access and flat screen TV.
Some rooms even feature sitting areas and/or hardwood floors while one of the suites has a beautiful tin ceiling. With all these amenities, I could’ve easily stayed in my room all day long!
But then I would’ve missed out on all the other great features that The Tremont House Hotel has to offer.
After taking a swim in the pool at their sister hotel, I’d take a trip up to their rooftop bar for some spectacular city and harbor views.
Then I’d stop by their 1880s style bar with its grand piano in the lobby before finishing off with dinner at their cafe.
And if you’re looking for something more active, there’s also an exercise room available.
The hotel is also perfect for events of any size – they have event spaces that can accommodate up to 800 guests at once!
There’s even valet parking available for a fee if you want your car taken care of during your stay.
